The Pittsburgh Steelers know that their schedule will consist of NFC East opponents, AFC East opponents and the teams which finished in second place in the AFC South and AFC West during the 2015-2016 NFL season. Here are their opponents:
The Steelers do not have to worry about being part of opening Thursday night as they did last season due to their second place finish in the AFC North and the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos finishing first in the AFC West. Since 2011, Pittsburgh's schedule has alternated between the first game of the season being at home and away; so last year's opening day game being at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts may be a good sign that the team could start it's 2016-2017 season at Heinz Field.
