The NFL threw down the gauntlet to James Harrison, Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers in regards to them being interviewed, or investigated, after a debunked Al Jazeera report linked them all to using Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs).
However, for those who thought Harrison would simply abide by the NFL's rules, and their August 25th deadline -- think again.
James Harrison will make himself available at 5 p.m. on Aug. 29 -- four days after NFL's stated deadline -- according to letter sent to NFL.

Per Tom Pelissero, in a letter sent to the league from Harrison's representatives, he will meet with the NFL on August 29th, 4 days after the NFL's deadline. Oh, and he plans on controlling the questions too.
Here is what ESPN's Chris Mortenson said regarding the situation:
"Players linked to Al-Jazeera report will interview with NFL. James Harrison will conduct his from team facility on Aug. 28. Wants questions limited to topics addressed in report."
For those who follow the Pittsburgh Steelers, you would expect nothing less from the man they call "Deebo". Nonetheless, it seems as if the NFL is getting what they want, and that is player cooperation. What they find in their investigation will certainly be interesting, as Harrison has made it a point to suggest they are on a witch hunt in this entire endeavor.
