The deadline for NFL teams to trim their rosters from 75 to 53 is 4:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, and the Pittsburgh Steelers have officially made the necessary transactions to abide by the league deadline.
The Steelers cuts are highlighted by 2nd year cornerback, and 4th round draft pick, Doran Grant. See the full list of cuts below:

Some of the notables in the Steelers final cuts would be L.J. Fort and Tyler Matakevich both making the team, as well as 7th round pick Demarcus Ayers not making the final roster. Of the 2016 NFL Draft class, Ayers and Travis Feeney were the only players to not make the team's opening day 53-man roster.
While Grant might be a surprise to many, he could be added back to the roster once Senquez Golson is placed on injured reserve due to his foot injury.
The Steelers roster is still very fluid, and could change dramatically in the next 24-48 hours. Stay tuned to BTSC for the latest updates.
