NFL Power Rankings: Pittsburgh Steelers remain a Top 5 team heading into the playoffs

The Pittsburgh Steelers have won 7 straight games heading into the postseason, and their spot on NFL Power Rankings hasn’t changed much at the end of the regular season.

The 2016-2017 NFL regular season has come to a close, and the Pittsburgh Steelers finished the season 11-5, winners of the AFC North. Although the season is filled with what-ifs, like what if the Steelers didn’t drop 4 straight games midway through the season, Pittsburgh can’t complain too much as they are the No. 3 seed heading into the first round of the playoffs this Sunday.

With the regular season over, it means the end to the NFL Power Rankings. For some, they rejoice at this news, while others enjoy the debate and conversation started across the league by who should be ranked higher, who should be lower, and the like.

The Steelers roller coaster ride up and down the NFL Power Rankings has been one to watch. At 4-1, they were the top team in the league by some websites, then after their 4-game skid, most dropped them out of the Top 10, and some near the 20 spot. Nonetheless, they have rebounded by rattling off 7 wins in a row, and find themselves near the top of the charts once again.

Take a look at the final Power Rankings by the major media outlets, and let the debate begin.

“The Steelers jumped the Falcons this week, not because they beat the Browns, but because they look like the better team right now.
