After a game, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin talks to the media about the game, and updates the injury situation following the latest contest. After the team’s 30-12 win over the Miami Dolphins, the news was positive for the black and gold.
However, as the players slowly left the locker room and headed to the podium to talk with media, Ben Roethlisberger came into the press room wearing a boot on his right foot.

Roethlisberger did say he injured his ankle during one of the hits he suffered during the game.

As mentioned in the above tweet, the team’s coaching staff will, and likely should, be questioned about having their star players in the game when the contest was clearly in hand and just a formality.
Nonetheless, Roethlisberger said he will play against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round next Sunday, and history shows barring a major unknown injury, that will likely be the case.
The Steelers and Chiefs will go head-to-head for the second time this season next Sunday at 1:05 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium. Be sure to stay tuned to BTSC for the latest on Ben Roethlisberger’s, and other, injury news heading into next week.
