There’s no secret the players and coaches in the National Football League hate Thursday Night Football games. To be honest, most fans might also say they don’t like the early games each week, but the NFL realizes the amount of money spent and earned on these games is far too valuable, and more important than things like player safety.
You have some players, like the Seattle Seahawks’ Richard Sherman, who have been very open and honest about their disdain for the Thursday night format. You can add a new name to the list of players who don’t like the early games, and that would be Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
See what Roethlisberger had to say about the upcoming Week-11 Thursday night game vs. the Titans on his weekly radio show:

While the players will cite player safety as the main reason why the league should abandon the every-Thursday format, the league will always follow the dollar signs. So don’t expect these games to be going anywhere anytime soon.
