Antonio Brown named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 11

The superstar wide receiver got some extra accolades for his huge game vs. the Titans in Week 11.

Antonio Brown is good at football.

Not that anyone reading this article didn’t already know this, but if you’re like me and Brown’s selection as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week slipped through the holiday cracks, then you get to realize just how special Brown is — again.

Brown lit up the scoreboard for the Steelers at Heinz Field on Thursday night as he torched the Titans for 10 receptions for 144 yards and three touchdowns en route to the team’s 40-17 win.

The win moved the Steelers’ record to 8-2 on the season, tops in both the AFC and AFC North.

What might be the most surprising facet of this story is that this is only the second time that Brown has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week in his entire career. He was named AFC Player of the Month and AFC Special Teams Player of the Week three times in his career as well, per the Steelers official website.

Kudos to Brown, and here’s hoping he has more Player of the Week awards awaiting him throughout the remainder of the 2017 season.
