Polling the NFL and handing out mid-season awards and accolades

Here at SB Nation we wanted to hand out some hardware...so we did.

As Steelers fans already know, the NFL regular season is at its halfway mark. With most teams having played half of their slated games, it’s time to take a look at the first half and hand out some hardware.

We polled all SB Nation NFL websites and tallied the votes for each of the following categories:

  • Coach of the Year
  • Most Valuable Player (MVP)
  • Defensive Player of the Year
  • Rookie of the Year
  • and MORE!

Check out the video below to see how the voting transpired, and to see if anyone from the Steelers took home some proverbial hardware at the midway point of the regular season.
