“Started from the bottom, now we’re here.”
Chalk this up as the first time I’ve used Drake lyrics in an article, but it seems fitting when talking about Joe Haden. Think about his journey in the NFL to date.
Drafted by the Cleveland Browns, suffered through nothing but losing seasons, was released by the team prior to 2017, signs with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free-agent and is now an AFC-North champ.
Oh, but there are bigger fish to fry for Haden than merely a divisional title. First on the list would be the Steelers’ upcoming opponent, the New England Patriots, and the last item on the list would be winning Super Bowl 52.
Take a look at the video below where Haden talks about Mike Tomlin’s reaction to him after the Week-14 win over the Ravens, how his leg is feeling and even how he feels being a champion in the NFL for the first time.
Just imagine if Haden won a Super Bowl this year...talk about living those Drake lyrics.
