The Pittsburgh Steelers were well represented when the Pro Bowl votes were counted and tallied.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a terrific season so far, and the NFL, and fans, have acknowledged several of them by way of being nominated to the annual NFL Pro Bowl.

Although the All-Star game has become more of a badge of honor, and butt of many jokes, than an actual test of skill on the field, players want to know they are appreciated by fans and others who have votes in the process.

For the Steelers, they had several players given the honor of being named a Pro Bowler.

Here is a full list of players who were named to the 2018 Pro Bowl roster:

WR Antonio Brown
RB Le’Veon Bell
QB Ben Roethlisberger
K Chris Boswell
ILB Ryan Shazier
OT Alejandro Villanueva
G David DeCastro
C Maurkice Pouncey

While the Pro Bowl is a great honor, all of the Steelers who were named to the roster would gladly miss the game due to being busy that week. In other words, if the team makes the Super Bowl they don’t participate in the All-Star game since the team will be preparing for the big game.

Here is to hoping none of the above players participate in this year’s Pro Bowl festivities.
