The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13, and a large part of their success came on the leg of Chris Boswell. Boswell hit a chip shot field goal before the end of the first half, but most importantly was the game-winning field goal to give the Steelers a 23-20 win over their AFC North rivals.
His performance earned him some NFL accolades, in the form of the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award.
Congrats to Chris Boswell for being named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his MNF performance. This is the second time Boswell has earned this honor (W6, 2015).

This is the second time Boswell has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week winner, and his performance since becoming a member of the Steelers is certainly noteworthy. Whether it is a playoff game where he produced all of the Steelers’ points, or game-winning kicks, Boswell has been the epitome of clutch.
As he prepares to enter free agency at the end of this season, the Steelers would be wise to lock up Boswell, considering he should be considered a staple on the team’s lineup for years to come.
