The every-changing 90-man roster for the Pittsburgh Steelers continues to add moving parts along the way. With NFL Free Agency under a month away, the Steelers have signed two defensive linemen to add depth at the position.
Those two players are Lavon Hooks and Roy Philon.
We have signed defensive linemen Lavon Hooks and Roy Philon.

Philon spent time with the Steelers as a rookie out of Louisville in 2014, has spent time with the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. As for Hooks, he started his career with the Green Bay Packers in 2015, signed with the Steelers prior to the 2016 season, but was released before the regular season.
So, to recap, two former Steelers, albeit for short stints, have returned to the Steel City for another shot at making the team. The odds are stacked against them, but at least they have a chance at breaking the 90-man roster, and moving to the 53-man squad for the 2017-2018 season.
