Steelers will return their entire coaching staff for 2017-2018 season

Despite many fans’ dismay, the Pittsburgh Steelers won’t be making any coaching changes heading into the 2017 season.

As if you didn’t know what this article was about before clicking the link, I can only imagine many of the reactions when seeing the headline.

“Are you serious?!”

“Unbelievable.”

I’m sure there were plenty others which had some expletives sprinkled in for good measure, but the majority of the Pittsburgh Steelers fan base is not excited about the news from team General Manager Kevin Colbert that the team is going to retain all of their coaches for the upcoming season.

Per the report from Jacob Klinger of PennLive.com, the Steelers will welcome back all, yes, all, coaches next season.

This news made me think about who would be public enemy number one for the fan base in regards to the coaching staff. For the sake of arguing, Mike Tomlin will be left off the list, there is no way a head coach is even considered to be released after making it to the AFC Championship game.

So, below would be a list, not MY list, of coaches the fan base would love you see go, although they aren’t going anywhere.

  1. Special Teams Coach — Danny Smith
  2. Secondary Coach — Carnell Lake
  3. Defensive Coordinator — Keith Butler
  4. Offensive Coordinator — Todd Haley
  5. Outside Linebackers Coach — Joey Porter

So, if you were to make a list of coaches you wish were replaced, who would be on it?
