Just a few weeks ago the 2014 incident involving Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro center Maurkice Pouncey at a Miami nightclub for his birthday was brought up again as the case was about to head to court.
Steelers faithful feared the worst, along the lines of another potential distraction in the offseason. However, according to the Pouncey brothers’ attorney, Jeff Ostrow, the twins have settled the lawsuit out of court.

The Pouncey attorney used words like “nominal” in referring to the settlement price, as well as a “small fraction” of what the Plaintiffs were requesting from the NFL offensive linemen.
When the case was brought up again, most fans wondered why the case wasn’t just settled without going to court. Well, as it turns out, that is exactly what happened. Besides a smudge on their public perception, which has taken a hit before, the Pouncey twins are now going to be able to go about their business this offseason without worrying about the lawsuit hanging over their heads.
