Sometimes it seems like the stars just align for some people. You can count Pittsburgh Steelers second round pick JuJu Smith-Schuster in that specific group.
Sunday, on Smith-Schuster’s official Twitter page, he shared an incredible story about how a year ago, while still playing at USC, he reached out to Antonio Brown on Instagram to pick his brain on playing the wide receiver position. Now, a year later, the two players are teammates pushing towards the same goal of a 7th Lombardi trophy for the Steelers.
Check out the interaction below:
Went from over a year ago asking @Ab84 for some tips on IG to working with him on the field as a WR for the @Steelers. God is good #IGWT pic.twitter.com/M8gAEnFPlJ

Here is what Smith-Schuster said to Brown on Instagram:
“What’s up AB? I’m a receiver at the University of Southern California. I appreciate all your work. Your a great man on and off the field. Do you have any tips that can help take my game to the next level? Thanks man.”
You can only imagine the number of mentions Brown gets on social media, and there is a very strong chance Smith-Schuster never got a response from the NFL’s best receiver. However, he certainly will get a response now, as the two will be spending a ton of time together in practice, film study and team meetings.
From a college kid looking for advice, to teammates trying to win it all. This story might just have a fairy tale ending come February 2018.
