Steelers guard David DeCastro cracks the NFL’s Top 100 at No. 97

The former first-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers finally is getting some recognition for his play on the field.

In case you hadn’t noticed (because I sure hadn’t), the NFL Network has begun their Top-100 players of 2016-2017, and a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers has cracked the list for the first time.

That would be none other than guard David DeCastro.

DeCastro, who’s never made the Top-100 list before, is coming off a tremendous season where he helped pave the way for Le’Veon Bell to dominate opponents on the ground.

The best part—if there is such a thing to the Top-100 list—are the video montages they put together where teammates and opponents talk about the particular player on the list.

You can watch DeCastro’s video below:

DeCastro comes in at No. 97, but should he be listed higher? After all, Adrian Peterson, who barely played in 2016-2017, made the Top-100 somehow. Let us know where you think DeCastro deserved to be, if he deserved to be on the list at all or if his current ranking is on point.
