Watch Steelers T.J. Watt throw out first pitch at Pirates game to James Conner

Being a rookie for the Pittsburgh Steelers means you have to be a lot of places around the Steel City. Most recently, the rookies took in a Pittsburgh Pirates game.

Just when you thought learning your playbook would be the most challenging thing you’ll have to do as an NFL rookie, you realize just how many places you have to attend for a multitude of reasons.

For Pittsburgh Steelers rookies, they make a yearly trip to Children’s Hospital, visit local restaurants like Primanti Brothers and even get to take in a Pittsburgh Pirates game. To be more accurate, top rookie T.J. Watt threw out the first pitch to fellow rookie James Conner.

Take a look at the video of the throw, which was a bit low, by the pair of Steelers green horns.

It is cool to see the Steelers rookies take in a major sporting event outside of Heinz Field, especially with the Penguins hosting the first two games of the 2017 NHL Stanley Cup Finals.
