The All-Pro RB took to his snapchat account following the failure to get him a new long-term contract before the Monday deadline.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Le’Veon Bell were unable to come to terms on a new long-term contract, and following the intense day-long meetings Bell took to his verified SnapChat account.

Before judging Bell and his comments, which you can see below, it should be known NFL players live for the long-term contract. While the average fan looks at his whopping $12 million dollar guaranteed contract and shakes their head at his disappointment, Bell has no security beyond the 2017 season.

In other words, if Bell suffers a career threatening injury in training camp, there is nothing keeping the Steelers from simply paying him his 2017 money and parting ways with the All-Pro running back.

Yes, the NFL can be a cruel business, but when Bell leaves the team’s facility around 5 p.m. ET on Monday, his comments speak for themselves.

“A long day, me and Jaylo we back at it. I gotta get better apparently.”
