Ben Roethlisberger speaks about retirement, Dan Rooney and his heart-to-heart with Martavis Bryant

Ben Roethlisberger spoke to media today, and addressed a ton of different topics surrounding the 2017 Steelers and their quest to win their 7th Super Bowl.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are back to work at training camp, and despite the absence of Le’Veon Bell, the reinstated-but-not-reinstated Martavis Bryant and a slew of injuries which have hit the team in recent days, there is still one player who is more important than all the rest.

The player who is the straw which stirs the drink, and without him the team wouldn’t be nearly as good.

This player is Ben Roethlisberger, and when Roethlisberger speaks, people flock.

At training camp Wednesday, Roethlisberger spoke to a throng of media and answered questions varying from Bryant’s reinstatement, the emergence of Justin Hunter, his first camp without Mr. Dan Rooney and even how the offensive line can play a large role in his decision to play in 2018 or not.

As Roethlisberger has gone from young phenom to the leader of the team, he doesn’t mince his words anymore. When he speaks, he is delivering a message in more ways than one. When he speaks of texting Le’Veon Bell a couple times, and didn’t get a return message, you can tell he is disappointed in the All-Pro running back.
