Le’Veon Bell hints at his possible return to the Steelers on Twitter

Is Le’Veon Bell serious about his return date?

NFL: Preseason-Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Most of you reading this are most likely sick of the news, or over indulgence, of when Le’Veon Bell will finally return to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Some reports have stated after the Week 3 preseason game, and Bell has even alluded to a date on social media before.

However, on Tuesday night Bell through out an actual date which could make sense, and also make some people angry:

For those who don’t have a calendar in front of them, let me run down the Steelers upcoming schedule:

Preseason Week 3: Saturday, August 26 vs. Colts — 7:30 p.m. ET
Preseason Week 4: Thursday, August 31 at Panthers — 7:30 p.m. ET
Regular Season Week 1: Sunday, September 10 at Browns — 1:00 p.m. ET

According to this tweet, from Bell’s verified Twitter account, he would be reporting the day after the Steelers play their final preseason game, and would begin immediate prep work for the regular season.

This would mean Bell would have ZERO football activities under his belt before the games really start to count. This would also make a very difficult decision for Mike Tomlin and how he would handle the usage of his prized running back entering the beginning of the 2017 regular season.

Of course, Bell could simply be messing with the media, as he has been known to do, and report after Week 3, as reported Sunday, or he could actually sit out the entire preseason.

Either way...
