The news of Le’Veon Bell’s return to the Pittsburgh Steelers already has a thick layer of dust on it, after all, Bell confirmed he would return to the team on September 1st, the day after the team’s final preseason game against the Carolina Panthers.
Bell had been training in Florida all preseason, but, according to his personal SnapChat account, Bell has returned to the Steel City.

Bell recently spent time in his hometown in Ohio as he was honored as a member of his High School’s Hall of Fame, and attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the field bearing his name at his alma mater.
Does this mean Bell will be reporting sooner than everyone thought? Not necessarily, but it is interesting he is in town and wouldn’t show at the team’s facility. Bell has been known to pull a fast one on media of all shapes and sizes, and him reporting when Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported weeks ago, being shortly after the team’s Week 3 preseason game, would certainly be a pleasant surprise for the fan base.
Either way, it sure does know how to make a preseason interesting, right?
