It is that time of the year again — Power Rankings season.

Although the major media outlets continue their Power Rankings throughout the offseason, the regular season is when the rankings can really spark some debate. And really, that is all they are really good for is the debate and discussion.

Nonetheless, it is always good to see where you favorite team ranks on a week-by-week basis, and for the Pittsburgh Steelers, they are certainly a top contender in the NFL this year.

Time to take a look at where the black and gold rank, along with the Top 10 from various media outlets:

1. New England Patriots
2. Seattle Seahawks
3. Atlanta Falcons
4. Green Bay Packers
5. Pittsburgh Steelers

“The Steelers stay right in place, even with Le'Veon Bell back and Joe Haden in the fold. Bell hasn't played all summer, and the Browns were fine with letting the latter (and his contract) walk out the door. Thus, we're holding steady on Pittsburgh as a top-five team without overreacting, particularly to the Haden deal. Like the move, but remember, this is not the same Joe Haden that we saw in, say, 2013 or 2014. Remember the Titans, too. It was on AMC this week. Great movie. Before Ryan Gosling became a modern-day Clark Gable stud bowl, and before every high school played in a spread. Excited for Martavis Bryant.”

6. Oakland Raiders
7. New York Giants
8. Dallas Cowboys
9. Kansas City Chiefs
10. Arizona Cardinals

“Adding Joe Haden to play corner will help the defense and the offense will be explosive. Can they overtake the Patriots in the AFC? That will be tough.”

5. Seattle Seahawks

7. Arizona Cardinals
8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
9. Dallas Cowboys
10. Los Angeles Chargers
