The injured Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker checked another box off his to-do list by attending practice Wednesday.

The concern is real.

For all the people who have never met or interacted with Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier, the concern they feel for his overall well-being is not fake. It is not fabricated strictly on the fact he plays for their favorite football team.

They care.

When no real updates of any significance ever come about, all of Steelers Nation is left wondering what is going on with Shazier? Will he ever walk again? Will he ever step foot on a football field again? The game isn’t important, but his health is paramount.

On Wednesday Shazier posted a message to fans on his social media channels, and it showed something he hasn’t shown publicly to-date. Himself in a wheelchair attending his first team practice since his injury. He had attended meetings, but hadn’t made it to practice yet.

He can check that box off his to-do list.

It is great to see Shazier smiling, and his positive words of inspiration reflect nothing but hope in his future. We here at BTSC wish Shazier nothing but the best, and will continue to send our thoughts and prayers his way in hope of a full recovery.

In the meantime, we all continue to SHALIEVE!
