JuJu Smith-Schuster has taken over Steelers Nation like a thief in the night. No one expected this kid, and I use such a term intentionally, to come into Pittsburgh and make a name for himself with both his play on the field, and his personality off it.
Either way, the 2nd round pick out of USC has done nothing but impress, and Week 17 was one of his best performances to date. So impressive the NFL named him the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Smith-Schuster earned the award for his 100+ yards in the kickoff return game, but most notably his remarkable kickoff return touchdown to give the Steelers a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. It was the first kickoff return for a touchdown since Antonio Brown did it in his rookie season in 2010 vs. the Tennessee Titans.
