NFL Expert Picks: Experts predict who the Steelers will play after Wild Card Weekend

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have to wait and see who they are going to play in the Divisional round of the AFC, so we check in on who the experts like in Wild Card Weekend.

For the teams who were good enough to earn a first round bye in the AFC Playoffs, Wild Card Weekend is nothing more than a spectator event. However, as spectators, teams like the Steelers, Patriots, Vikings and Eagles all get to find out who they will be hosting in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

With that said, it is time to take a look at who the experts like on Wild Card Weekend, which will then predict who the Steelers will host at Heinz Field on January 14th at 1:05 p.m. ET.

For the first time in a long time, almost all experts are on the same page when it comes to who they think will leave the Wild Card round victorious, and in the case of the AFC, the experts are jumping on the backs of the home teams.

That’s right. Experts at ESPN, SB Nation and even CBS Sports, are all-in on the Kansas City Chiefs over the Tennessee Titans, as well as the Jacksonville Jaguars to beat the Buffalo Bills. However, when you look at the grand picture, meaning all of the experts who weigh-in on a weekly basis with picks, it shows there is more faith in the Bills to somehow pull out an upset, compared to the Titans.

Out friends at NFL Pick Watch show 94-percent of experts backing the Chiefs, while 85-percent are backing the Jaguars.

So, what does this all mean for the Steelers?

If the expert picks come to fruition, it would mean a rematch of Week 5 for Pittsburgh with Jacksonville coming to town looking to prove their 5-interception performance was no fluke.

While this typically gets Steelers fans fired up when thinking about it, only time will tell who will be Pittsburgh’s opponent in the next round. The NFL is crazy, and in the playoffs it gets even wilder.
