There has been several people have asked if we could bring back the Friday Night open thread. I had moved the event to Saturday morning, but after minimal success, I decided to bring back the Friday night open thread...with a slight twist.
I liked the Saturday Six Pack theme, so I decided to just take the six questions and move them to Friday night. Say hello to Friday Night Six Pack of Steelers Questions, and open thread!
The rules haven’t changed...
Quick rundown of the ground rules.
- I’ll ask at least four questions strictly related to the Steelers.
- The rest of the questions could be about anything.
- Be respectful.
- Have fun talking about the Black-and-gold.
That’s it! With that out of the way, it’s time to get this party started. Hey, don’t act like you’ve never done a little Friday night drinking. Here goes:
1. If they are both available at No. 28, and you have to pick one, who are you taking? Rashaan Evans or Leighton Vander Esch?
2. If you have a choice at a RB or WR in Round 3 of the NFL Draft, which position are you taking, and why?
3. A lot has been written about the Steelers’ struggles with drafting OLBs. What is the ONE characteristic you look for when you are talking about and EDGE rusher?
4. The Steelers’ secondary has had a lot of number swapping recently. Joe Haden is now No. 23, and Sean Davis is now No. 21. There is a part of me that doesn’t like this, at least not switching numbers while on the same team. Fans who bought a Davis No. 28 jersey now have an out-dated piece of memorabilia. What are your thoughts on this?
5. Here at BTSC we used to have the NFL Jersey Rules (Neal took them with him, and I respected his wishes). Do you ever wear a jersey from a player who left Pittsburgh to play elsewhere?
6. Have you ever seen the Steelers on the road? How many games have you seen away from Heinz Field, and what was it like? Horrible experience? Or pretty awesome? Tell us the story!
No matter what, always remember...
HERE WE GO STEELERS!
