Pittsburgh Steelers 2018 NFL Combine wrap up and discussion

New, comments

The 2018 NFL Scouting Combine is complete, so we discuss what we learned.

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers, along with the rest of the NFL, have started to head back from Indianapolis after the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine. There were a lot of prospects which were interviewed by Pittsburgh, and many more who worked out and possibly turned some heads.

What I wanted to do was to pick the brains of the BTSC community regarding what they saw, and read, following the NFL Combine.

In other words, who improved their stock and turned some heads while at Lucas Oil Field?? This is the place where we, a Steelers community, can identify prospects who have shot up your own personal draft board.

For me, this would be a player like Justin Reid, Stanford safety. Not only was his on-field work amazing, but watching interviews with him impressed the heck out of me. The tape, the workout and the interviews all match up, and for me that makes a tremendous prospect. Throw in the fact the Steelers need safety help and you have yourself a legitimate prospect to watch.

In the comment section, pick a couple prospects which impressed you in some way or another, and how they fit into the Steelers’ scheme. I want to collect these names, and put them into a prospect thread with their Combine times, etc.

So, keep it respectful, and let’s start talking prospects!
