Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl odds steady after initial wave of free agency

New, comments

With some key additions, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Super Bowl odds haven’t wavered after NFL Free Agency has slowed down.

When Super Bowl 52 concluded with the Philadelphia Eagles raising the Lombardi trophy for the first time in franchise history, Las Vegas got to work on their updated odds for Super Bowl 53. For the Pittsburgh Steelers, this was a let down.

After a demoralizing defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars at Heinz Field in the AFC Playoffs, there wasn’t much hope for the black-and-gold in the 2018-2019 season. However, after releasing some players who many considered dead weight, and added a pair of players in Jon Bostic and Morgan Burnett at key positions — hope has returned among the fan base.

But what about Vegas? Have they rebounded with some faith like SteelerNation has?

To be honest, Vegas has remained the steady hand throughout the past tumultuous offseason for the Steelers.

Check out the latest odds, per the Bovada sports book:

Odds to Win Super Bowl 53

2/5/18 Current Odds

New England Patriots 5/1 5/1

Philadelphia Eagles 9/1 17/2

Minnesota Vikings 12/1 9/1

Pittsburgh Steelers 12/1 12/1

Green Bay Packers 9/1 14/1

Los Angeles Rams 18/1 14/1

San Francisco 49ers 20/1 14/1

New Orleans Saints 18/1 18/1

Atlanta Falcons 18/1 20/1

Houston Texans 25/1 22/1

So, with this knowledge, would you put money on the Steelers to win it all in 2018? To claim their seventh Super Bowl trophy and further distance themselves from the pack for most Lombardi trophies in NFL history?

Let us know in the comment section below, but if you like the team’s odds you might want to place your bet before the line changes.
