It's hard to avoid the narrative of ex-Ravens running back Ray Rice and his recent release from the team and his indefinite suspension from the NFL. Much has been said, but there's still a football game ahead of us; one that Rice won't be playing in.
The Steelers and Ravens kick off at 8:25 p.m. ET from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. These teams have split the last 28 games, with nearly the last dozen of them being decided by three or less points.
They play each other conservatively and physically. That's why it always ends up coming down to the last few plays. This one shouldn't be any different and, with the short-week, home crowd likely out in force, the Ravens need a win to avoid an 0-2 start to the season. The Steelers had little time to make adjustments to a defense that allowed 24 second-half points in a narrow win over the Browns.
