The move comes after the Steelers ruled Minkah Fitzpatrick and Elandon Roberts questionable.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are adding some reinforcements for their season finale against the Baltimore Ravens, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

With Minkah Fitzpatrick and Elandon Roberts

questionable, the #Steelers have elevated LB Myles Jack and S Eric Rowe from the practice squad to the active roster.

It seems Roberts has a better chance to play than Fitzpatrick, but neither has been ruled out.

The hope is that both Fitzpatrick and Roberts will play, however, this is a sign that the Steelers are preparing for the reality that they might not. Roberts told the media this week that he expects to play, though his questionable tag insinuates it’s not a lock.

Myles Jack, 28, has appeared in each of the Steelers’ last two games after coming out of retirement. He has recorded 14 tackles, a big boost for the defense after several key injuries at inside linebacker. Eric Rowe has also stepped in for the past two games, recording 17 tackles and an interception.

Fitzpatrick hasn’t played since Week 15, while Roberts has been out since Week 16, but if both of them can’t get up for the Ravens game, they will have strong backup options. Safety Trenton Thompson (neck) was also ruled as questionable for Week 18 after missing each of the past two weeks, further testing that depth.

The Steelers and Ravens are set to kick off tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. ET at M&T Bank Stadium.
