What do you get a NFL franchise which already has the most Super Bowl wins in NFL history? Well, a lot actually. With the Christmas holiday upon us, I found it fitting to reveal what the Pittsburgh Steelers have on their Christmas wish list for the 2015 year. Some might be more elaborate than others, but all very worthwhile.
Take a sneak peak at the list heading into Week 16:
- Clinching a playoff berth this Sunday by beating the Baltimore Ravens
- Antonio Brown breaking the NFL's receiving yards record for a season
- Earning a playoff seed other than the No. 6 seed
- Continued good health throughout the final stretch of games
- No more fines from the NFL
- 2 more regular season games scoring 30 or more points
- Ben Roethlisberger continuing to add to his yards per game average by throwing over 330 yards per game
- Entering 2016 with back-to-back wins over AFC North rivals
- Winning a playoff game for the first time since their trip to Super Bowl 45
- WINNING SUPER BOWL 50!
Have the Steelers been good this year? That might be up for debate, but they certainly have shown their mettle on more than one occasion. The question might not be have they been good this year, but does this 2015 Steelers team have the talent and grit to get the job done? The answer to that is a resounding yes.
Only time will tell what the future has in store for this Steelers team, but with two games remaining in the regular season this team is poised for a postseason run. Merry Christmas to all Steelers fans around the globe!
