Just like the Labrador / Golden Retriever / Bulldog and Dachshund are the Mount Rushmore of dogs and Chris Collinsworth / Dan Fouts / Phil Simms and Rich Gannon make up the most annoying color commentators currently, we have been determining the best of the best in Steeler lore.
Last week, we took a look at the tight end position, and determined Heath Miller / Bennie Cunningham / Mark Bruener and Elbie Nickel were the best in Steelers’ history, according to BTSC commenters. Eric Green just missed the cut.
This week, we take a look at the pass rushers. With James Harrison becoming the all-time leader in sacks, there is a new king of the mountain in Pittsburgh in that category. But since the NFL didn't start recording sacks as a stat until 1982, the list doesn't completely recognize the Steelers all-time best.
This is not to take away from Deebo , I still consider him in the Mount Rushmore of QB sackers, but what do you think? As always, this is your interactive column. List in the comment section who indeed you perceive as the best Steeler sackers. We will publish the results next week.
