The Pittsburgh Steelers have won three games in-a-row, and their most recent victory came against the previously 8-3 New York Giants. People can say what they want about the win, but it was a very important victory for the Steelers.
The offense making enough plays, especially in the running game when the game was on the line, and the defense standing tall on multiple occasions was encouraging — regardless of opponent.
The win propelled the Steelers record to 7-5, but also up the weekly Power Rankings. There were some websites who had Pittsburgh as a mid-level team, but after the win at Heinz Field in Week 13 they have them making a huge leap into the Top 10.
Power Rankings might be meaningless, but they are great for discussion and conversation. Which team is overrated, which team could make a run and which teams are considered to be the class of their respective conferences. Take a look at four prominent Power Rankings below, and where the Steelers rank in each.

“Ladarius Green is stepping up as yet another weapon at QB Ben Roethlisberger's disposal after setting a career high with 110 receiving yards against the Giants. The Bills are the next team that gets to figure out how to stop Green over the middle and Antonio Brown on the outside.”

“The Steelers appear to be getting on a little bit of a roll thanks to wins over the Browns, Colts and Giants. Now that they’re getting healthy, the offense is dangerous once again with playmakers all over the place. The biggest factor in their success is Le’Veon Bell, who’s putting up big numbers on the ground and in the passing game.”

“Sizable jump for the Steelers, who are up five spots following the convincing win over the Giants at the Ketchup Bottle. The championship-caliber offense managed to inhibit itself with a few drops and penalties, making us all wonder what's going to happen when some poor team feels the brunt of what this explosive group can do when all the stars are aligned. That's something we haven't seen in the last two postseasons due to injuries. I don't care if it's the Patriots, the Raiders or the AFC South sacrificial lamb -- if someone draws a Pittsburgh offense firing on all cylinders, there will be blood. (Minus the sordid bowling-alley scene.)”
10. New York Giants
