With the 2016 offseason officially underway for the Pittsburgh Steelers, most fans turn their attention to college prospects and the 2016 NFL Draft. It is tough to ignore the frenzy which has become the draft process, but in early March free agency begins across the NFL landscape, and there are holes which need filled by players who have more experience than a rookie might be able to provide.
This is where the Steelers' 2016 Free Agency Wish List comes into play. The Steelers have several positions where they could lose a significant member of their depth chart, and to avoid a severe drop off in production, free agency could be their best bet moving forward.
Clearly, the Steelers cannot afford to sign all of these players, but there are a few who the team might be able to convince to come to Pittsburgh in hopes of winning a Lombardi trophy. Looking at the Steelers free agent needs in 2016, we have broken down the wish list into key positions: Safety, Cornerback, Defensive Tackle/End, Offensive Guard and Quarterback.
As always, if you feel a name should be added or removed from the list, the floor is yours in the comment section below. Let the bidding war begin!
