2016 Steelers Roster, 90 in 90 Days: Matt Feiler tries to hold on for one more day

In a new feature at BTSC, we are breaking down the Steelers 90-man roster one player, one position, one day at a time. The conclusion of this feature will be the start of the 2016 season.

Player: Matt Feiler

Position: OT

School: Bloomsburg

Overview: For Strasberg Pennsylvania native Matt Feiler Tuesday was going to be a long day as he's one of those players trying to survive past the official roster cut day. Fieiler went to Bloomsburg college where he was originally a guard, but then moved to left tackle. Between his sophomore and senior year Feiler started every game. As with most guys from a small school, he was undrafted and signed with the Texans in 2014. He spent that year with the Texans and then was cut and signed by the Steelers last year. Feiler's ceiling is probably as a career backup, and the Steelers already have depth at tackle so don't be surprised if Feiler is no longer an active roster member when all is said and done.

Strengths:
Started every game from 2011-2013
Good size for position - 6'6" 330 lbs.
Willing to move around to make the team
Has some familiarity with the organization

Weaknesses:
Poor balance
Poor agility-struggles to handle speed rush
Low ceiling
Faced low level competition in college

Chances of Making the team: 10%
