Another week of NFL football is behind us, at least in the AFC North division. With that said, it is time to see how the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns all did in the week that was. Time to take a look.
Baltimore Ravens - 19
Jacksonville Jaguars - 17
The back-and-forth affair in Florida was a wild ride until the end. When Blake Bortles and company looked to have the game in hand, something would go drastically wrong. A blocked field goal, untimely turnovers and overall sloppy play led to the Ravens improving their record to 3-0. So, for those keeping score, the Ravens have beaten the one win Buffalo Bills, the winless Cleveland Browns and the winless Jaguars. For those looking for a story line, you can look no further than the on-field argument between Steve Smith Sr. and rookie Jalen Ramsey after the game (see picture).
Miami Dolphins - 30
Cleveland Browns - 24 (OT)
As most of the fans waiting to watch the Steelers had to endure, there didn't seem to be a team who wanted to win the game. With the game tied at 24, the Browns got a strip sack of Ryan Tannehill, but just like the Browns typically do, they squandered the victory with a missed field goal. The Dolphins would win the game in overtime on their second possession.
Denver Broncos - 29
Cincinnati Bengals - 17
Don't look now, but the Bengals have lost back-to-back games to the Steelers and now the Broncos. The Bengals defense surrendered 4 touchdown passes by Trevor Siemian as they now prepare to face the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.
Philadelphia Eagles - 34
Pittsburgh Steelers - 3
No, the score isn't a typo, and if you missed the game you would know just how bad it was.
AFC North Standings:
Baltimore Ravens - 3-0
Pittsburgh Steelers - 2-1
Cincinnati Bengals - 1-2
Cleveland Browns - 0-3
