NFL Picks and Predictions Week 1: The BTSC Contributor Challenge

As contributors of BTSC, we offer up our opinions and projections more often than Mike Tomlin utters the word "obviously" into a microphone. Speaking for myself, I'm not always right. In my house, I let my wife assume that crown. So what better way is there than to put our money where our keyboards are and offer game projections weekly?

BTSC will publish our projections every Thursday and the results and standings the following Tuesday. The season-wide winner gets the distinction of besting the other contributors here at BTSC and can use it as a way to curry favor with the opposite persuasion in bars or at home. Probably not, but I like to think so. The loser gets a Limas Sweed jersey. So, nobody really loses.

So join us as we project our NFL picks weekly, maybe you'll win money from co-workers or a bookie because of us and will reward us with a trip to Vegas, a cool Native American casino or even Dollywood. Or just heckle us in the comments section.

Then again, you don't need permission to do that. I know you've been planning that all along. This is where most people would insert the "LOL", but I'm vehemently opposed to succumbing to using that and never will.
