The Pittsburgh Steelers have quite the history with members of the AFC West. One team was a 70s version of a combo of the Bengals and Ravens. The other three have all been playoff foes and tough road stops over the years. But who is the most despised of in the lot? Will it be old foe or a recent headache?

Join us as we hate-rate the AFC West.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos have never made life easy for the Steelers. Overall, the Steelers are 11-19-1 vs Denver. The Steelers .371 winning percentage vs the Mile High club is the worst among any of the AFC franchises. In Denver, the Steelers are 5-12-1 and 2-4 in the playoffs. The Steelers have faced the Broncos eight times in the playoffs, but won only three. Steeler fans were never loving of John Elway and that feeling is believed to still persist today.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs and the Steelers don't have much of a rivalry. The Steelers rolled off seven straight in the 70s and lead the series 22-11. They just faced off in the playoffs with Pittsburgh prevailing 18-16 on six Chris Boswell field goals. The one act that Steelers fans may remember the most was Larry Johnson dragging Troy Polamalu down by the hair in 2006. But the series has been pedestrian for the most part.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Steelers won the first six games in their history with the Chargers and lead the all-time clip at 23-9. There were some memorable bouts with the Dan Fouts-led Bolts in the 70s and 80s, but not much animosity. The Steelers are 1-2 in the playoffs vs San Diego, with the most memorable being a crushing defeat after the 1994 season for the AFC championship.

Oakland Raiders

This was THE rivalry of the 1970s. It was Davis, Madden, Stabler, Matuszak, Alzado, Hendricks, Tatum, Atkinson and on and on and on. The two teams met six times in the playoffs from 1972-1984 and split at three a piece. The hatred continued when the Raiders had their foray in L.A., but has tailed off recently. The Raiders lead the series 15-13.
