The Pittsburgh Steelers added depth to their defensive line by re-signing Clifton Geathers to a one-year contract Wednesday.

Geathers joined the Steelers mid-way through the 2014 season, and did not dress for a game with his new team. His most memorable moment for the Steelers was getting into a practice fight with Maurkice Pouncey after Geathers was thought to be practicing 'too hard'.

Geathers helps to bring much needed depth at the defensive end position. He now adds to Cameron Heyward, Stephon Tuitt and Cam Thomas as the only ends on the team since Brett Keisel's release earlier this offseason.

Geathers was a 6th round pick for the Cleveland Browns in 2010 and has been a journeyman ever since spending time with the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins all before joining the Steelers in 2014.
