NFL rules state every team must trim their 53-man roster before the start of every game, this results in the inactive list. As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare to face the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Wild Card game in Cincinnati, OH, the team has released the players who won't be in uniform on prime time.
Inactives for the @Steelers: QB Vick, WR Coates, CB Grant, RB DWilliams, LB Fort, T Stingily, DE Walton

The list doesn't have any surprises as Mike Vick, Sammie Coates, Doran Grant, DeAngelo Williams, LJ Fort, L.T. Walton and offensive tackle Stingily are all inactive.
The Steelers will have to account for the loss of Williams more than anyone else. They will turn to a combination of Fitzgerald Toussaint and Jordan Todman to fill the huge void the offense now faces, for at least one week, without Williams in the backfield.
With the Bengals not having won a playoff game since 1991, and the Steelers not winning one in the last 5 years, something has to give.
