The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a thrilling last-second victory over the San Diego Chargers to advance their record to 3-2, while the Arizona Cardinals are coming off a thorough beat down of the Detroit Lions to move their overall record to 4-1. With the game being played at Heinz Field, one would think the cross-country flight would play a role in the Cardinals play; however, the Cardinals have stayed at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulfur Springs, WV to prevent the jet lag from hindering their play this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EDT.

The Steelers offense has struggled with Michael Vick at quarterback, and has squandered a myriad of opportunities to prove they are a team worth reckoning with moving forward, and the total opposite can be said about the Cardinals. Both the Arizona offense and defense put up points at a tremendous rate, which will make this game a challenge for the stunted Steelers' offense.

How close does Vegas see this game playing out? Closer than the average fan might think. The open line on the game has the Cardinals at 3.5-point favorites, while the majority of other books see the Cardinals as 3-point favorites.

The Cardinals are +100 in point differential through the first 5 week so of the season, so such a line will certainly have some fans scratching their heads. Nonetheless, the Steelers are rarely home underdogs, and they find themselves in such a role this Sunday when the Cardinals come to the Steel City

The Arizona Cardinals, or "Pittsburgh West", has plenty of ties to the Steelers' organization, but how this game plays out will largely come down to which team avoids the big mistake. Either way, the early odds are pointing to the Cardinals as favorites in this rematch of Super Bowl 43.
