The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to win back-to-back games for the second time this season by defeating the Arizona Cardinals at Heinz Field, and they did so with some unique combinations due to injury.
There are obvious snap totals which were much higher than expected, players like Landry Jones who saw his first NFL regular season action of his career, and there were some surprises as to players who didn't play as much as expected for one reason or another.
When looking at the offensive snap totals, again it was DeAngelo Williams who seemed to draw the short straw as he saw just two offensive snaps. Despite Todd Haley declaring Williams to see an increased role in the offense, it simply hasn't happened. Most were thinking Williams playing more snaps would help keep Le'Veon Bell fresh throughout the duration of the season, but Mike Tomlin and company seem at ease with Bell's high snap totals.
On the defensive side of the football, it was interesting to see how the team handled the vacancy of Ryan Shazier on the defensive side of the football. In what used to be Sean Spence's job, with Vince Williams playing sparingly in specific situations. Now, or at least in Week 6, the job was a 50-50 split between the two inside linebackers.
The Steelers now prepare to play the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 7 for a 1:00 p.m. EDT kickoff. The complete snap totals run down is below, courtesy of Pro-Football Reference.
