NFL Picks and Predictions: Steelers vs. Ravens Week 4

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 2-1, hosting the 0-3 Baltimore Ravens. Who will come out victorious? Time to make your predictions for this AFC North grudge match.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Thursday night the Pittsburgh Steelers will be hosting the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football, and despite the records for these teams entering Week 4, this will be a game to watch for the football purist. However, predicting the outcome might be a bit tougher than expected.

The Steelers are rare home underdogs, and the line varies anywhere from 1.5 points to 3.0 points favoring the visiting Ravens. The biggest question mark within the game is the polarizing figure who is now quarterbacking the Steelers, Michael Vick. Vick is known for his off the field transgressions as he is for his on the field success, but the question remains if he can keep the Steelers' ship afloat in Ben Roethlisberer's absence.

On the other side of the field, the familiar foe of Joe Flacco looks to lead his team to their first victory of 2015 by defeating their arch nemesis on their own turf on prime time television. Flacco and the Ravens were the team who ended the Steelers' 2014 championship hopes by defeating them in the AFC Wild Card game at Heinz Field last season.

The Ravens haven't won a game in 2015, stumbling out to an 0-3 start with losses to the Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals, while the Steelers are 2-1 with wins over the St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers and a loss to the New England Patriots. In this rivalry, records go out the window as to who is going to win.

We want to know your prediction of the game. Will Vick lead the Steelers to their 3rd win? Or will the Ravens keep their hopes alive with a prime time victory? Enter your score in the tool below and prove Steelers fans who are regulars at BTSC know the game better than those Ravens fans over at Baltimore Beatdown.

All predictions will be totaled, tabulated and calculated for accuracy. As for my prediction, well here it is. I see this game being extremely close, and despite the Ravens clinging to a lead in the 4th quarter, it will be a Josh Scobee field goal with no time remaining to win the game for the Steelers.

Jeff Hartman's Prediction (BTSC Editor):
Steelers: 22
Ravens: 20
