Steelers Injury Report: Matt Spaeth the only starter to miss practice due to injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue their march to the postseason, and it looks as if they will be doing so with a healthy roster when they play the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16.

When you see the starting safety writhing in pain on the ground grasping his shoulder, you have to wonder about his availability moving forward. This is what happened with Mike Mitchell against the Denver Broncos in Week 16. Mitchell had injured his shoulder against the Cincinnati Bengals trying to tackle A.J. Green, but the injury didn't keep him out of the lineup long, as he returned in both games after only play.

After missing Wednesday's practice session, Mitchell returned to work with his teammates on Thursday and was a full participant, a great sign he will be more than ready for the 1:00 p.m. kickoff against the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday.

As Mitchell returned to practice, reserve tight end Matt Spaeth (knee) didn't practice. Mike Tomlin rested the tight end, as well as safety Will Allen, as he normally does with veteran players in the latter portion of the regular season.

The Steelers have their final practice Friday, and will release their final injury report in the early afternoon leading up to the Ravens game. There is plenty on the line for Pittsburgh, a win and they clinch a playoff spot. It is win and in, and it looks as if the Steelers will have all hands on deck when they travel to M&T Bank Stadium this Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. EDT kickoff.
