Pittsburgh Steelers inactives vs. Chiefs highlighted by Ben Roethlisberger

The Pittsburgh Steelers are gearing up for the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, see who was labeled inactive for the Week 7 game.

Kickoff is only hours away for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs, and before the first play of the game, each team will have to render part of their lineup inactive for the Week 7 AFC matchup.

For the Steelers, the following players have been listed as inactive:

The list is highlighted by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who will miss his fourth game with a sprained MCL and a bone bruise. To replace Roethlisberger will be Landry Jones getting his first start of his NFL career, and Tyler Murphy, who was promoted from the practice squad, will be the emergency back up at Arrowhead Stadium today.

The reason Murphy is being used as a quarterback, a position he has't played since his Senior year at Boston College, is because Mike Vick is also inactive with a hamstring injury. Safety Will Allen will be missing his third straight game with an ankle injury and a surprise inactive is LB Terence Garvin who suffered a knee injury late in the week.

Stephon Tuitt (knee) and tight end Jesse James (healthy scratch) are the only other players listed on the team's inactive list. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. EDT in Kansas City, Missouri.
