The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Oakland Raiders Sunday at Heinz Field, and it looks as if they will have the services of two defensive starters who are set to return to action in Week 9.

It has been a while, but the Pittsburgh Steelers could have a full arsenal on the defensive side of the ball this Sunday when the Oakland Raiders come to Heinz Field. Both Stephon Tuitt (knee) and Will Allen (ankle), who have missed multiple games due to injury, were full participants in practice Friday, and are listed as probable on the team's final injury report before the Week 9 game.

With Tuitt and Allen back in the lineup, the team will be sporting a defensive lineup the team hasn't seen since Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers when Ryan Shazier was injured in the 4th quarter of the game.

It has been that kind of year for the Steelers, in terms of injuries. One player returns, while another leaves due to injury. Despite the setbacks, the defense has proven they are more than capable of making the necessary plays to win, even with their backups in. Derek Carr and the Raiders will be going against a full defensive roster for the first time in a long time.

Other than Tuitt and Allen, Mike Mitchell (concussion), Mike Vick (hamstring), Martavis Bryant (illness) and Markus Wheaton (ankle) are all listed as probable for the game this Sunday. The non-injured who sat out of Wednesday's practice, and are also listed as probable, are William Gay, James Harrison and Heath Miller.

The only players listed as out for this game are Terence Garvin (knee) and Matt Spaeth (knee). Some might think Spaeth being out of the lineup would equate to rookie TE Jesse James getting a helmet on game day, but when Spaeth missed a game earlier this year the team dressed another offensive tackle rather than lean on the rookie.

The Steelers and Raiders game kicks off at 1 p.m. EDT. Be sure to stay tuned to BTSC for all your Steelers coverage leading up to kickoff.
