The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing to play the St. Louis Rams Sunday, and are hoping to advance to 2-1 before a Thursday Night Football game against their division rival Baltimore Ravens in Week 4. When they suit up today at 1:00 p.m. EDT in St. Louis today, they will be without several players who were listed as inactive for the game.
Inactives for @Steelers: QB Jones, CB CAllen, LB Shazier, NT McCullers, G Hubbard, TE James, DE Lyons

The Steelers inactive list is highlighted by CB Cortez Allen missing his second consecutive game with a knee injury. Allen practiced fully on Wednesday, but was limited both Thursday and Friday, showing signs of a setback with the injured joint. Allen being out of the lineup will result in a depth chart of Antwon Blake, William Gay, Brandon Boykin and Ross Cockrell.
Other inactives are not surprising as injured players Ryan Shazier and Daniel McCullers are inactive, Chris Hubbard, Jesse James, Landry Jones and Caushaud Lyons are all healthy scratches for the team.
With McCullers out of the lineup, the team has given rookie L.T. Walton a helmet for the first time in this 2015 regular season, and another rookie who is due to see his first game action is WR Sammie Coates. When the team released WR Tyler Murphy to make room on the roster for Le'Veon Bell, it left them with only 4 wide receivers.
