Remember when Pittsburgh Steelers fans were up in arms about Ben Roethlisberger and his walking boot? Seems like ages ago, and Roethlisberger has been a full participant the past two practices, and isn’t even listed on the team’s final injury report.
The Steelers have ruled out only one player, Anthony Chickillo (ankle), and Ladarius Green (concussion) was listed as doubtful. Green didn’t practice at all this week, and is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol. This season, you can count the number of players who played on a game day after being labeled as doubtful on one hand. Some view Green being listed as doubtful as a positive sign, but until he returns to practice, there is no real timetable for his return.
Ricardo Mathews (ankle) and Fitzgerald Toussaint (concussion) are both listed as questionable, and likely game-time decisions.
For the Chiefs, they are as healthy as it comes heading into the postseason. Justin Houston will return to the field, and believe it or not, both of these teams are healthy for a game worth all the marbles. For the complete injury report, check the reports below.
