The wait is over. The speculation can stop. No longer is the debate how many weeks, or games, Ben Roethlisberger will miss due to his knee injury. Rather, the answer is now he missed one game, and it took two weeks to recover from his torn mensicus, and he is slated to start in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Roethlisberger will start for #Steelers

This is great news for the Steelers in a huge game against the Ravens, but what might be more important for the black and gold is the fact the offensive line is intact for the first time since the Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Ramon Foster and Marcus Gilbert have both missed time with injuries, and Gilbert’s return to the lineup will be a welcome site for the team as they try to protect Roethlisberger.
Roethlisberger’s performances coming off injury have been well documented, but the team has to feel confident in his ability to lead the team to victory in a big game, or they would have played Landry Jones for the second straight game.
Stay tuned to BTSC for all the latest in-game updates leading up to the 1:00 p.m. EDT kickoff in Baltimore, MD.
