NFL Expert Picks: Who they are taking between the Colts and Steelers on Thanksgiving

The Pittsburgh Steelers have struggled on Thursday nights, and on Thanksgiving, but what do you experts think of the game against the Colts?

When news broke about the Indianapolis Colts being without Andrew Luck for the Thanksgiving night football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a lot changed. The 5-5 Steelers went from not so sure about facing Luck and company, to having confidence going against Scott Tolzien who has a 1 TD to 5 INT ratio in his NFL career.

Las Vegas certainly took note of the game, and the line changed dramatically throughout the week. The opening line had the Steelers as 2-point favorites, but on game day Pittsburgh is now 9-point favorites.

So, Las Vegas likes the Steelers, although their ultimate goal is to move money, but what about the NFL experts who make weekly selections? Time to take a look...

It shouldn’t shock anyone the Steelers are considered the favorite among experts, after all, Tolzien has thrown only one NFL pass since the 2013 season. The experts at SB Nation and CBS Sports absolutely agree. They both see this game being a Steelers victory, propelling them to their second straight win, and advancing their record to 6-5.

However, not all experts think this is a clean sweep. There are a few who like the Colts at home on Thanksgiving night. At ESPN and FOX Sports they both have one expert who thinks it will be the Colts who will hold serve at home and advance to 6-5.

These are only 4 websites who log weekly expert picks, but what about all those other websites and experts who make picks? Thanks to our friends at NFL Pick Watch, a website which takes all expert picks across the board and tabulates them in one place, they have 91-percent of experts taking the black and gold in Week 12.

Vegas like the Steelers, the experts like the Steelers but who will come out victorious and improve their AFC Playoff potential has yet to be seen.
